Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to drive Lean initiatives and oversee daily operations on-site. You will manage team leaders, coach staff, and ensure safe, efficient production flows across projects, aligning with company-wide sustainability goals.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain high-quality outputs. Knowledge of Lean principles, TLDP completion, and the ability to influence and train others are

Qualifications

  • Experience applying Lean principles to manufacturing or operations.
  • Completion of TLDP (Team Leader Development Program).
  • Ability to lead and coach multiple team leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean related activities and board meetings.
  • Assign work schedules and coordinate overtime.
  • Ensure employee safety and EHS adherence.
  • Monitor product and process quality.
  • Troubleshoot simple machines or processes.
  • Lead and train team leaders; provide feedback and coaching.
  • Communicate across departments and with plant leaders.

Where is the work: On-Site (5 days)

What's in it for you: Leads other team leaders and assists in managing operational issues to ensure effective and efficient product flow

What you will do:
  • Leads MDI board meetings and other Lean related activites
  • Assigns work schedules and coordinates overtime
  • Ensures the safety of employees and adherence to EHS requirements
  • Monitors the quality of products and work
  • Troubleshoots simple machines, processes, or products, or employee issues
  • Leads and trains team leaders, provides feedback and coaching
  • Frequently communicates with team members, supervisors, and across departments, and with plant leaders
  • Coaches other team leaders
What you will bring:
  • Ability to lead others and influence behavior
  • Ability to perform the job that employees under their supervision are also performing
  • Ability to problem solve, provide feedback, and coach others
  • Works with limited supervision
  • Completion of TLDP
