Job summary
ZEISS Group in Minnesota seeks a Service Specialist & 2nd Level Support to provide structured technical expert support to SSCs and partners. You will handle 2nd level tickets, remotely assist Field Service Engineers, and contribute to knowledge sharing and service readiness.
The role requires a degree in engineering, 3+ years of experience, fluent English, and travel willingness; the annual pay range is shown with benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years as service or support engineer.
- Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering or related field.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Knowledge of metrology and measurement data analysis.
- Experience with ticketing systems and service documentation is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel for on-site support, trainings or installations.
- Strong communication and customer orientation.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd level support and handle tickets.
- Interface to 3rd level / expert teams.
- Deliver trainings and knowledge transfer.
- Support service readiness and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and case records.
