Job summary

Southern Champion Tray Llc in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a 2nd Press Operator – Flexo Sheet for the Day Shift (3 days, 12-hour). You will set up, maintain, and operate the machine to achieve quality prints at target speeds and troubleshoot issues.

The role requires reading and understanding orders, basic math, and English communication. A high school diploma or GED is expected, along with forklift certification and mechanical aptitude; experience with large format presses is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a large format press in a folding carton environment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical ability required.
• Must be able to read and understand English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and operate the flexo sheet press to meet target speeds.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate when needed.
• Record production data and inspect finished boards for quality.
• Read work orders and ensure correct materials and settings.
• Maintain 5S and safe work practices on the production floor.
