Southern Champion Tray in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Press Lead for the Offset Sheet night shift. The role oversees safety, setup, and quality across sheetfed and offset presses, driving production schedules and high-quality packaging jobs.

The candidate should have 5+ years in progressive print production, with 3+ years on offset/sheet-fed presses, and possess basic computer and mechanical skills. Supervisory experience is a plus and bilingual not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive print production experience in a Press Operator or related role.
• 3+ years experience operating offset / sheet fed conventional printing presses.
• Must have basic computer skills and mechanical ability.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the overall safety, setup, quality and operation of print and sheeting operations.
• Coordinate and oversee the production schedule for sheetfed/offset conventional presses (KBA) and Sheeter operations.
• Actively support print crews and operators to produce high-quality jobs to customer specifications.
• Review and discuss schedule, production and run status with lead/manager of prior shift.
• Communicate with operators at beginning of shift to review production schedule and job requirements.
• Ensure proper setup of make-readies and adherence with run speeds.
• Verify quality checks and press approvals for all jobs.
