Job summary

Southern Champion Tray Llc in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a 2nd Press Operator - Offset Sheet for the night shift to safely set up and operate the feeder area of the conventional sheet-fed press. You will ensure product quality and maintain run speeds per standards, review job tickets, prepare inks and plates, and support the next production run while keeping a clean, safe work environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and familiarity with large format

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience.
Experience operating or feeding a large format press preferred.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be able to read and understand documents in English.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe setup and operation of the feeder area of the conventional sheet-fed printing press.
Ensure quality products at a consistent rate of speed per machine standards and customer specifications.
Review job ticket instructions to determine customer specifications, machine setup procedures, supplies needed and other instructions.
Prepare for next production run and stage substrates, inks, plates, proofs, and job jackets.
Inspect and adjust feeder components and conduct routine maintenance to meet SCT quality standards.
