Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking a Material Handler for a Germantown, WI location. This 2nd and 3rd shift role offers competitive hourly pay and potential for hire.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and staging materials; transporting materials using forklifts or pallet jacks; picking, packing, and labeling; maintaining inventory in WMS/ERP; supporting physical counts and audits; and collaborating with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to ensure smooth workflow and 5S

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

• Transport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiency.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar workplace standards.

Wage: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd, 3rd

Hours: 2:54pm-11:00pm; 10:54pm-7:00am

QPS Employment Group has a great Material Handler position available at a company in Germantown, WI. This is a 2nd and 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
