Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler in Germantown, WI. This position supports receiving, inspecting, and moving materials using forklifts and manual handling, while keeping accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, staging for production or shipment, cycle counts, and collaboration with production and shipping teams. Must have high school diploma; forklift certification preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; flex hours on 2nd or 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation.
• Transport materials to storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiency.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar workplace standards.

Wage: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd, 3rd

Hours: 2:54pm-11:00pm; 10:54pm-7:00am

QPS Employment Group has a great Material Handler position available at a company in Germantown, WI. This is a 2nd and 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
