Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Germantown, WI is seeking a Material Handler for 2nd and 3rd shift. The role involves receiving, inspecting, and moving materials using forklifts, storing and staging inventory, and ensuring accurate records in our ERP/WMS systems.

You will support production and shipping teams, perform cycle counts, uphold safety standards, and keep areas clean and organized under 5S guidelines. A high school diploma and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Transport materials using forklifts or pallet jacks to storage or production areas.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS or ERP software.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Follow safety guidelines including OSHA standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to improve workflow.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and 5S-compliant.
