Job summary

A leading color solutions manufacturer located in Mukwonago, Wisconsin is seeking a motivated Color Lab Technician. This role involves adjusting color submissions, performing quality control functions, and mixing batches for sample submissions. Ideal candidates will have attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Full benefits package available after 60 days, and no prior experience required as training will be provided.

Color Lab Technician positions available! $1.00 shift premium for 2nd shift! $2.50 for 3rd! First year PTO accrual! No waiting period for paid holidays! Full benefits package available after 60 days.

2nd shift hours are Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12am

3rd shift hours are Sunday - Thursday nights 11:30pm - 8am

The training period would be on 1st shift with hours of 7:30am-4pm

Summary:

To adjust and finalize color submissions through the use of lab equipment, as well as perform quality control functions.

• Measure, weigh up color formula’s materials to meet customer specifications
• Mix batch in jars on shakers, and produce color chips using injection molding machines for sample submission and for each lot of colorant manufactured to ensure quality control
• During production process, match customer color submissions as accurately as possible using lab equipment and guidance from more experienced technicians assigned to Quality.
• Clean work area as needed, and follow all Safety rules and regulations.
• Fill supply cabinets with fresh supplies
• File folders, chips, paperwork
