Job summary

A leading color solution manufacturer in Wisconsin is seeking a Color Lab Technician to adjust and finalize color submissions for quality control. The position offers a $2.50 shift premium for 3rd shift, first year PTO accrual, and comprehensive benefits after 60 days. Candidates from any industry are welcome to apply and will receive training. 3rd shift hours are Sunday - Thursday nights 11:30pm - 8am

The training period would be on 1st shift with hours of 7:30am-4pm

Summary:

To adjust and finalize color submissions through the use of lab equipment, as well as perform quality control functions.

• Measure, weigh up color formula’s materials to meet customer specifications
• Mix batch in jars on shakers, and produce color chips using injection molding machines for sample submission and for each lot of colorant manufactured to ensure quality control
• During production process, match customer color submissions as accurately as possible using lab equipment and guidance from more experienced technicians assigned to Quality.
• Clean work area as needed, and follow all Safety rules and regulations.
• Fill supply cabinets with fresh supplies
• File folders, chips, paperwork
