Job summary

Premier Precision Machining, LLC is seeking a 2nd/3rd shift CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and program lathes and mills with Fanuc controls. You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and use precision tools to ensure tight tolerances.

You will also program using CAM software, adjust tooling fixtures, perform routine maintenance, and support lean manufacturing. This role emphasizes safety, quality craftsmanship, and teamwork on each shift.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in G-code/M-code; familiarity with CAM software is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T to verify part dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes/mills with Fanuc controls to produce parts.
• Program machines using CAM software to optimize processes.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to ensure specs are met.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces with precision measurements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machines; perform routine maintenance.
• Utilize EDM techniques when needed for hard materials.
• Support lean manufacturing to improve flow and safety.
• Assist with assembly when required and document production data.
• Record production runs and quality checks for traceability.
