The ability to move throughout the building and/or district is required. Frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting up to approximately 30 pounds; occasional lifting of equipment and materials up to 40 pounds may be required depending on assignment. Occasional travel with students on field trips may be necessary. Maintain emotional control under stress.
Although the district reasonably expects substitutes to work at least 10 hours per week, the district does not guarantee a minimum number of hours. The district’s need for substitutes varies from week to week. In some weeks, substitutes may not receive any assignments. Likewise, substitutes may be unavailable to accept assignments due to illness or other personal reasons.
