Job summary

Aurora Public Schools is hiring for a teaching position designated as Hard to Fill. Eligible staff receive an annual stipend of $5,000, paid in two equal installments in January and June, contingent upon completing each semester.

Applicants must be licensed by the Colorado Department of Education and endorsed to teach the designated class, and must teach the area for at least half of their assignment.

Job Description

This position is designated as Hard to Fill and is eligible for an annual stipend of $5000. Stipends are paid in two equal installments of $2,500 in January and June of the school year, contingent upon working the entirety of each semester.

To be eligible for the Hard to Fill stipend, staff must:

• Be licensed by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and appropriately endorsed to teach the class and/or meet the criteria established by CDE to serve as an educator of record for the class.
• Instruct students in the identified area at least 50% of the assignment.
