Job summary

CommIT Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Watch Team Supervisor in Kansas City, MO to lead a 24x7 real-time monitoring and incident response team. You will coordinate on-call coverage, provide technical guidance, and drive ITSM and event monitoring tool usage to ensure mission readiness.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Remedy/ITSM, and the ability to deliver executive-level updates. Weekend support and leadership responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• IAM Level I certifications required (CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP).
• At least 5 years operating on an operations staff supporting Watch Team activities.
• Background in IT business processes and cyber incident response.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy and SharePoint.
• Able to work in a 24x7x365 shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor events and incidents; take immediate action on the network.
• Oversee weekend Helpdesk support via phone, web, email, and in-person interactions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of service requests from detection to closure.
• Prepare post-incident reports and executive-level briefings as needed.
• Ensure Watch Team training and adherence to Battle Staff procedures.
