Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems for documentation and record keeping.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance-related tasks up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Availability for emergency call-backs and shift coverage on a 24/7 basis.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Valid driver's license, if required for site operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of high-pressure gas/oil-fired boilers and related equipment in a 24/7 environment.
• Monitor and adjust boiler fuel-air mixtures, pump pressures, and system levels for efficiency and safe operation.
• Support maintenance activities including cleaning, inspections, and preventative tasks.
• Maintain accurate logs, fuel usage reports, and system data entries.
• Respond to call-backs to ensure continuous plant operation.
• Prepare materials and tools for maintenance tasks based on work orders.
• Operate tools and equipment to support plant operations.
• Assist with inventory management and requisitioning of supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; keep a clean work area.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and facility teams to meet performance goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
