The SLP Specialist collaborates with internal teams and external partners to maintain safety, data integrity, and asset protection while delivering high-quality security services and education

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience, or 1+ year in security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, law enforcement, or operations, or Loss Prevention Qualified Career Choice Graduate.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, in a professional capacity.
• Workplace incident mitigation or de-escalation and Business Continuity planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential investigations and prepare prompt written reports of theft, fraud, and critical incidents.
• Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities and define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Serve as department liaison and security/crisis management SME for site leadership.
• Develop strategies for alarm reduction and conduct system diagnostics for problematic devices with internal and external partners.
• Domestic regional travel up to 25% of the time when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and work on various physical tasks; 12-hour shifts; may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
