Job summary

Twin River Casino in Rhode Island is seeking a Security Officer to patrol the property, observe guest traffic, verify IDs, and respond to incidents. You will staff the Security Dispatch Center 24/7, monitor cameras, manage badges, and coordinate with Fire/EMS, Police, and other departments while maintaining logs and assisting guests with information.

This role requires staying alert in varying environments, standing or walking long distances, and working overnight shifts; prior customer service

Qualifications

• Rhode Island Driver Operator License.
• Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations Gaming License.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe guests entering and departing the property to enforce access and observe activity.
• Check identification of individuals entering the facility in compliance with Rhode Island state law.
• Staff the Security Dispatch Center 24 hours a day; answer phones, monitor radio communications, and dispatch appropriate responses.
• Monitor surveillance cameras (non-gaming areas) and coordinate with Surveillance, Fire/EMS, Police, and other departments.
• Maintain CAD (computer aided dispatch) logs for all calls for service.
• Staff the Card and Destruction Room, inspect and cancel cards and dice, and maintain logs of visitors, staff, and inventory.
• Assist guests by providing information and directing them to the appropriate source for assistance.
