Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Console Operator for the FDA Command Center on the White Oak campus. The role involves monitoring CCTV and security systems, responding to alarms, and dispatching guards as needed.

Shifts cover days, evenings, and overnights with potential irregular hours, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and complete required certifications within 90 days.

Qualifications

• One to two years of physical security, guard force, or alarm monitoring experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in English and able to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, E-mail) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a shift log documenting activities, alarms, dispatches, and incidents.
• Receives calls for service, refers callers to proper authority, and notifies appropriate branches.
• Monitors CCTV and security systems, responding to alarms and incidents promptly and effectively.
• Prepares written incident reports and post-incident communications with accuracy.
• Enforces security policies and collaborates with FDA personnel and contractors.
