Job summary

Lines for Life is hiring Remote Crisis Intervention Specialists to support 24/7 crisis lines across the United States. The role offers $23–$25 per hour, with higher starting pay for graduates in related fields and a 2% Oregon differential for state residents.

A comprehensive onboarding program lasts five weeks, with flexible scheduling in a 40-hour week. Work is remote with a 24/7 schedule; applicants must meet QMHA requirements and possess crisis intervention capabilities, empathy, and strong

Qualifications

• Able to meet Qualified Mental Health Associate requirements.
• Crisis intervention knowledge and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high levels of stress and work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Answer crisis helplines with compassion per training and scope.
• Document crisis contacts accurately in electronic health records.
• Place follow-up calls as scheduled by the shift supervisor.
• Assist with rescue calls during emergencies and triage contacts with coworkers.
• Complete trainings to stay current with policies and techniques.
