Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Production Manager to oversee 24/7 manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will lead Packaging, Operating and Material Handling teams and drive continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.

The role requires strong leadership, communication and project management skills, with experience in GMP/SQF and auditing. A relevant degree and plastics manufacturing background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of plastics industry processes (extrusion, thermoforming) is a plus.
• Experience with GMP, SQF, SPC and audits is desirable.
• Familiarity with standard manufacturing business processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, plan and coordinate production teams including Packaging, Operating and Material Handling.
• Coordinate onboarding and training to ensure GMP, SPC, SQF, safety and conduct policies.
• Foster an open-door culture and promote idea exchange.
• Develop employees for next level opportunities and progression.
• Participate in performance management with HR and plant management.
• Review and report on production data including downtime, scrap and staffing.
• Coordinate maintenance repairs impacting production results.
