Job summary

Genpak is seeking an experienced manufacturing operator to run extrusion lines and support daily production activities. You will maintain quality, complete required documentation, and communicate issues to supervisors.

The role requires attention to safety, efficient changeovers, and strict adherence to GMP/SQF standards. Responsibilities include operating all department machines, assisting with overtime, and inputting production totals in Excel.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience or equivalent training/education.
• Good math, reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Run all department machines and ensure production flow.
• Assist in scheduling department overtime and relieving breaks.
• Input 2-hour production totals in Excel and maintain accurate records.
• Oversee grinding room cleanliness and ensure rolls are ground properly.
• Assist with cutter reports and keep pelletizers running at all times.
• Monitor silo pads and vacuum pads for cleanliness; manage hose connections during changeovers.
• Ensure operators checklists are completed and compliance with safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor and abide by SQF/GMP standards.
