Adelphia Gateway, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, seeks a Pipeline Operator to monitor and control natural gas movement across pipeline segments from a centralized control room. You’ll ensure safe, efficient delivery, maintain system integrity and coordinate with field staff.

Responsibilities include operating and balancing daily plans, handling alarms, and contributing to CRM compliance while working a rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent with related pipeline experience or 4+ years military experience.
• Associates degree plus 2–4 years control board experience preferred.
• Control center experience in natural gas or liquids pipelines is required or preferred.
• Familiarity with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA systems is preferred.
• Strong PC skills and ability to navigate the Internet and SharePoint are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Control pumps and compressors remotely, analyze changing conditions and alarms; adjust to meet demand.
• Execute the daily operating plan to meet receipts and deliveries within DOT and tariff standards.
• Document operational information daily during shifts.
• Communicate system status at shift changes; manage outages impact.
• Monitor flows, pressures and quality; respond to SCADA alarms and dispatch field personnel.
• Maintain site security systems and report alarms.
• Assist with balancing with customers and provide non-discriminatory service.
• Validate SCADA and communications systems using company procedures.
• Manage 811 One Call notifications and coordinate with schedulers and field staff.
• Complete Operator Qualification training as required by Company, DOT and PHMSA.
• Perform other duties and required inspections.
