Job summary

Adelphia Gateway, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, is seeking a Pipeline Operator to monitor and control natural gas movement through multiple pipeline segments from a centralized location on a 24-hour basis, in line with contractual requirements and system capabilities.

The role involves monitoring pipeline and facility integrity, system pressures, and coordinating operations, shutdowns and start-ups in compliance with PHMSA CRM rules, while ensuring safe, reliable delivery and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus relevant pipeline experience or 4+ years military service.
• Associate degree preferred with 2-4 years control room exposure.
• Control center experience in gas transmission pipeline is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control pipeline/system operations from centralized control room.
• Execute operating plans and manage routine/unscheduled outages safely.
• Analyze system pressures, alarms and adjust operations to meet demand.
• Document operational information and communicate status during shifts.
• Coordinate with field personnel and 811 notifications as needed.
