Adelphia Gateway LLC, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, seeks a Compression Operator for Salford, PA to service, maintain and repair mechanical equipment used in natural gas transmission systems, ensuring continuous flow to customers.

You will perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on compressors, pumps, motors, and control systems, while documenting activities and complying with safety regulations. Must reside within 35 miles of the site and be able to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least three years of demonstrated work related experience; two years of gas lift experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and combustible gas safety regulations and procedures.
• Must reside within 35 miles of assigned work location.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance and repair as well as emergency troubleshooting and repair on compressors, coolant systems, lube oil systems, valves and actuators, emergency power systems, emergency shutdown systems, safety systems and station and unit control systems.
• Follow maintenance and repair procedures and standards to ensure integrity and safety of mechanical systems and equipment; carry out routine maintenance checks and report/resolve any faults or abnormalities.
• Work with operations and engineering teams to maintain standard procedures and troubleshoot problems.
• Maintain compressor site operating procedures manual, reports, permits and logs and properly record all maintenance and repair activities.
• Assure compliance with all applicable regulations (DOT, OSHA, EPA, etc.); identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
