Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Network Operations Analyst to support the Washington, DC-based client. This shift-based role requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust and provides 24x7x365 monitoring, incident management, and cross-functional coordination within the NOC.

The successful candidate will monitor health and performance of network, infrastructure, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, M365), perform triage and escalation, and maintain

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a Network Operations Center, SOC, or enterprise IT operations environment.
• Experience with enterprise network and infrastructure monitoring tools and platforms.
• Experience managing incidents using a formal ITSM platform (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
• Experience working in a shift-based, 24x7 operations environment.
• Familiarity with Federal or private-sector enterprise IT environments of comparable scale and complexity.

Responsibilities

• NOC Monitoring & Event Management: 24x7 monitoring of network, infrastructure, and cloud environments; classify events and incidents.
• Incident Response & Escalation: acknowledge P1 incidents within 15 minutes; triage and escalate as needed.
• ITSM & Knowledge Management: create and update incident/change records; follow knowledge base and runbooks.
• Shift Operations & Coverage Continuity: ensure reliable watch coverage; thorough handoffs; participate in cross-training.
• Reporting & Analytics: contribute to sprint metrics, ITSM dashboards, and trend reporting.
