Qnity Electronics, Inc. is seeking a First Line Manager to lead manufacturing and maintenance on assigned shifts, ensuring safety, reliability, and productivity.

This role coordinates across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Utilities, and Warehousing to drive fast decision-making and effective execution. The FLM will supervise hourly staff, manage shift handoffs, monitor KPIs, and champion continuous improvement initiatives, with a rotating 12-hour schedule and a commitment to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years leadership experience in manufacturing or related operational environment.
• Experience leading 24/7 production operations and cross-functional teams.
• Strong safety & regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Decision-making under fast-paced, changing conditions.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide frontline leadership for manufacturing and maintenance on assigned shifts.
• Lead shift handoffs with clear priorities and safety concerns.
• Make real-time operational decisions to ensure safe, reliable production.
• Coordinate staffing and workforce deployment to support goals.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Engineering to maximize uptime.
• Drive rapid response to disruptions and abnormal conditions.
• Conduct safety audits, observations and incident response.
• Support permit-to-work processes and contractor oversight.
• Foster cross-functional alignment across plants and warehousing.
• Coach hourly employees and ensure safety and operational excellence.
• Monitor shift KPIs: safety, quality, delivery, uptime, labor, productivity.
