Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Production Manager to oversee all production teams in a 24/7 environment in Salem, VA. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while driving Lean practices and continuous improvement.

You will lead manufacturing operations, manage budgets, mentor staff, and collaborate with scheduling to optimize capacity. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years in manufacturing with leadership are preferred; Marvin offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication and time management skills.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in management.
• Experience with World Class Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, and TQM preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production teams in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Promote a safety culture and maintain injury-free workplace.
• Ensure on-time delivery and high-quality product to customers.
• Manage production schedule execution and input to scheduling.
• Mentor direct reports and develop team capabilities.
• Control budgets and manage expenses within parameters.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S practices throughout the facility.
• Ensure accurate reporting in the MRP system.
