Georgia-Pacific LLC in Palatka, FL is seeking a Logistics Material Handler to join our Shipping department. This is an excellent entry point in a growing business.

You will operate forklift and palletizing equipment, use SAP/EWM on a tablet to move inventory, and rotate a 12-hour schedule with days/nights, weekends, and holidays in a non climate-controlled plant.

Safety training and strict adherence to rules are required as you help ensure smooth production and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production, warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment
• Forklift experience
• H.S Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to warehouse and deliver large rolls of paper and other materials
• Monitor, maintain, and operate palletizing machinery
• Use tablet device to move inventory accurately using SAP/EWM Electronic Warehouse Management Systems
• Complete safety training that consist of lock out; tag out, safety controls, forklift safety certification, and "Save My Life" permitting
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
