Job summary

Kyndryl in Boulder, Colorado is seeking a dedicated and skilled Computer Operator to join our team for a full-time onsite role with a 24x7 support schedule. You will handle incidents, monitor health and performance, and report on system status across environments.

The role requires working weekends and holidays as part of an AWS rotation, with focus on observability, dashboards, and timely remediation to ensure availability for clients and business operations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in an Operations environment.
• At least 2 years’ hands-on experience working with Windows and Office products, including Word, Excel and Teams.
• Must have excellent customer relations/communications skills and ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Must be able to work an Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) to maintain 24x7 support.
• Candidates will be required to pass stringent background checks.

Responsibilities

• Resolve client issues via Service Now ticketing and collaborate with level-2 support.
• Monitor, track, and report on health, performance, and availability of systems.
• Monitor for abnormalities and potential indicators of compromise, performance issues, or misconfigurations.
• Monitor and alert on infrastructure, system, service, and tool events.
• Create and assess monitoring and alerting to minimize incident impact and improve remediation times.
• Continuously monitor system health via real-time dashboards and metrics.
