Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH, is seeking a dedicated hospital security officer to patrol buildings and grounds, respond to emergencies, and safeguard patients, staff and visitors. You will coordinate with the switchboard, maintain logs, and handle sensitive items with strict confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and relevant certifications; hospital security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IAHHS Basic Security Officer Certification required within 6 months.
• CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) certification required.
• Certifications for issued equipment (handcuffs, O.C. spray, taser) required within 30 days.
• Prior hospital security experience preferred (<1 year).

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular patrols of hospital buildings and grounds.
• Respond to emergency situations and hospital codes.
• Assist with handling of deceased persons and property.
• Maintain radio communication with switchboard and security officers.
• Provide courtesy escorts to employees, patients and visitors.
• Document activity and prepare incident reports as needed.
• Respond to disasters, drills and other emergencies in a professional manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital matters.
