Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center seeks a vigilant Security Officer to help keep patients, visitors, and staff safe on the Main Campus and West Campus around the clock. You will perform safety/security rounds, monitor alarms, respond to emergencies, and document activities accordingly.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CPI training within 90 days, a valid driver's license, and 1–2 years of security experience. Comprehensive benefits accompany this role at the hospital.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Must acquire key personal safety skills within 90 days (handcuff, pepper spray, crisis intervention) and attend CPI training.
• Must have valid driver's license for mobile patrol.
• One to two years of related security experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts security/safety rounds twice per shift and documents findings.
• Assists in managing aggressive/combative patients and applies restraints per policy.
• Produces clear incident reports and maintains daily activity logs.
• Participates in emergency evacuation and hazardous materials response as needed.
