Southern NH Medical Center is seeking a dedicated security officer to protect patients, staff and visitors across our Main and West campuses. The role emphasizes rounds, incident reporting, and adherence to safety policies to maintain a calm, secure hospital environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with restraints when needed, documenting events, and supporting emergency procedures. A high school diploma and driver’s license are required, with CPI training within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to complete CPI training within 90 days.
• Must have or obtain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security/safety rounds twice per shift and document findings.
• Assist in management of aggressive/combative patients and apply restraints per policy.
• Provide incident documentation and maintain daily activity logs.
• Facilitate emergency evacuation and ground safety procedures.
• Serve as first responder for hazardous material emergencies.
