Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking an Associate to provide 24x7 communications between physicians, hospital personnel, patients and visitors. The role involves handling Emergency Life Safety codes, paging, and call processing with high accuracy in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, experience with office computers, and familiarity with Cisco and Spok software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers in an office environment.
• Experience answering telephones in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Cisco and Spok software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Emergency Life Safety Codes and page appropriate personnel promptly.
• Answer and accurately process calls, handling 60–80 calls per hour with high accuracy.
• Demonstrate courteous, professional customer relations on the phone with patients and staff.
• Manage on-call schedules and pager exchanges, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
