Xcel Energy is seeking a scheduling professional to manage gas nominations for supply, transportation, and storage, ensuring reliable service. The role involves coordinating with sellers and transporters, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining accurate records in the transaction system.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Business, Logistics, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year natural gas or logistics-based industry experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to meet hourly and daily scheduling deadlines with limited supervision.
• Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work before/after regular hours including some on-call holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Accurately schedule and nominate gas supply, transportation, and storage volumes.
• Optimize transportation and storage contracts daily or hourly with increasing independence.
• Confirm nominations with transporter and seller; resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with gas supply agreements and deadlines.
• Update volume, transportation rates, and contract information in the transaction management system.
• Provide weekend on-call scheduling coverage on a rotating basis.
