Job summary

NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC seeks a Sr. Scheduler to manage daily and monthly natural gas scheduling for our growing retail portfolio, ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective delivery via interstate pipelines and LDCs.

The role requires hands-on scheduling experience and knowledge of Midwest/Central gas markets, and involves coordinating with Trading, Supply, Pricing, Risk and Back Office to support bidweek, daily balancing and monthly settlement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience.
• Experience: 4+ years.

Responsibilities

• Generates accurate and timely reports for all responsibility areas to balance and manage physical controlled business
• Inputs, verifies, and adjusts physical flows and transported volumes into computerized management system
• Verifies accuracy of portfolio, assists back office with monthly closing process
• Provides alternate routing to ensure contractual obligations met
• Acts as a lead on various projects and/or assignments
• Mentors or leads less experienced schedulers
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
