Job summary

Fluidstack is actively seeking a Data Center Operations professional to install, deploy, and maintain server and network hardware within our live data centers. You will ensure asset integrity, resolve incidents, and support 24/7 SLAs while collaborating with customers, partners, and vendors.

You will work on-site, handle rotating shifts, and use Linux to troubleshoot issues; scripting with Python/Bash is a plus. This role offers a path toward building civilization-scale AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and supporting server and network hardware in a live data center at scale.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and ticket resolution under 24/7 SLAs.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet and physical-layer diagnostics.
• Ability to work on-call and shift rotations; mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install, deploy, and configure server and network hardware, replacing parts while keeping asset records accurate.
• Work rotating shifts or on-call to meet 24/7 SLAs, prioritizing and resolving tickets to maintain reliability.
• Assist network troubleshooting through cabling diagnosis and replacement; support escalations from lower-tier techs.
• Act as first on-site responder for incidents, coordinating with engineering for support.
• Provide on-site support across initiatives and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
