Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician in Phoenix to perform preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and precise repairs on UPS, generators, and HVAC systems to ensure maximum uptime.

You will follow MOP/SOP/LOTO safety protocols, review work orders, and collaborate with teams to maintain critical data center infrastructure while meeting safety and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–2 years of job-related experience in critical infrastructure or similar environments.
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, climb, and lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on UPS, generators, and cooling systems to maximize uptime.
• Monitor energy usage and ensure building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for code compliance and safety.
• Follow procedures and communicate clearly for straightforward issues.
• Contribute to team objectives by performing defined tasks under supervision.
