Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 2-year technical program with 2+ years experience in dispatch, data center, or Control Center.
• Able to understand SCADA protocols and RTU communication.
• Knowledge of computer troubleshooting and remote sessions for tech support.
• Knowledge with system monitoring tools to analyze hardware status and network activity.

Responsibilities

• Support Control Center operators from Control Systems Operations center.
• Manage 24/7 shift rotation readiness after qualification.
• Monitor and troubleshoot two proprietary SCADA connected control systems, network infrastructure, and hardware.
• Assist in datacenter operations including server/workstation installation and network wiring.
• Perform first level administration tasks for EMS/ADMS computers and related infrastructure.
• Follow safety procedures during installation, repair, maintenance, and testing responsibilities.
