Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a SCADA Specialist to perform real-time SCADA system support and administration for a Pipeline SCADA system. You will work with Pipeline Control to monitor and operate pipelines safely through SCADA/HMI, integrating RTUs and PLCs with field personnel for data access.

The role requires 2–5 years of SCADA experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong communication skills. Occasional travel and 24x7 on-call rotation are possible as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience with SCADA systems.
• Experience with Windows OS and server administration.
• Gas/Liquids pipeline knowledge and measurement tech are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform real time SCADA system support and administration for pipeline SCADA.
• Coordinate with Control Center to ensure safe operation of pipelines via SCADA/HMI.
• Integrate RTUs and PLCs for real time data access; troubleshoot data polling.
• Document changes and follow change-management procedures.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Collaborate with Field Personnel, CRM, and Control Center on SCADA projects.
