WinCo Foods is looking for a dependable team member at our Burlington location to provide friendly service at our checkout lanes and self-checkout areas. You will process orders, handle cash and payments, and assist customers with pricing and product locations.

The role requires flexibility for varied shifts, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. This position supports a busy, 24/7 operation in a customer-centric grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including night, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate to perform customer relation tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must maintain accurate handling of monetary transactions and pricing information.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Operate check stand equipment and process customer orders accurately.
• Engage in suggestive selling and handle monetary transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of product location, pricing, and UPC codes.
• Keep check stand area clean, safe, and stocked; assist at self-checkout or service desk as needed.
• Follow all laws and company policies regarding tobacco, alcohol, and SNAP/WIC procedures.
