Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a friendly customer-service oriented team member to process customer orders at the checkout. You will operate check stand equipment, handle cash and transactions, and help customers with a courteous, accurate experience.

Shifts are 6 to 8 hours, 4:00 am to 1:00 am in a 24/7 operation. You will maintain proper pricing, stock shelves, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while delivering fast, helpful service.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Certification (Per State Laws)

Responsibilities

• Welcomes, engages and thanks customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Operates check stand equipment to process orders accurately.
• Maintains knowledge of product location, correct pricing and proper stocking.
• Handles monetary transactions including cash, checks, gift certificates, coupons, and refunds.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness and organization of the check stand area.
