The University of Denver Campus Safety Communications Center operates 24/7 to receive and dispatch calls and messages to Campus Safety Officers on the Denver campus. Communication Technicians prioritize calls, relay accurate information to responders, and support field personnel, alarm technicians and parking enforcement in a fast-paced environment.

Training lasts about five months; candidates must pass background checks and a pre-employment drug screen and demonstrate strong customer service

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months customer service or related experience.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Demonstrate and maintain good moral character.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task.
• Pass a job related skills examination.
• Must pass a complete background check to include criminal and verification of employment and education.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen administered by a University approved facility.

Mansioni

• Receive and dispatch calls and messages to Campus Safety Officers.
• Evaluate calls for proper action and initiate response by officers or outside agencies.
• Enter data into CAD as information is received.
• Relay accurate information to responding personnel.
