Rialto Capital in Miami offers a 10-week summer internship across CMBS Performing Loans, Real Estate Asset Management, Collateral Surveillance, and Loan Workout. Interns will analyze real estate transactions, prepare qualitative and quantitative analyses, and present conclusions to the team.
Interns will contribute to evaluating leasing matters, property sales, and management changes while supporting market research and cash flow projections for CMBS loans.
Evaluates various real estate transactions including leasing matters, property sales, property management changes, hotel franchise agreements, etc. An intern in this group will be responsible for performing qualitative and quantitative analysis and subsequently presenting conclusions to the team’s approval committee.
Recommends resolution strategies for non-performing loans such as: loan modification, foreclosure, forbearance, discounted payoff, etc. An intern in this group will perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to recommend the most appropriate resolution for a respective loan.
Assesses, manages and liquidates real estate owned by Rialto or its subsidiaries. An intern in this group will analyze each owned property to determine its optimal holding period and market value.
Monitors risk factors associated with the properties underlying Rialto’s CMBS bond investments. Leads annual RE-Underwriting initiative of CMBS loans. An intern in this group will conduct market research and evaluate cash flow projections of CMBS loans.
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop. The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Evening or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.
