TIMET in Toronto, Ohio, is offering a 2027 Summer Human Resources Co-op that is paid and includes housing stipend. It requires a minimum of a 3-month assignment with full-time, on-site work, Monday through Friday.

The internship supports the local plant HR department in day-to-day activities and provides hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, training, and labor relations initiatives.

Qualificações

• Full time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor, Industrial Relations, Business or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and basic office equipment.
• Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Responsabilidades

• Assist daily HR department activities, including letters, reports and forms.
• Participate in labor relations activities including grievances and contracting out.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding activities.
• Track probationary forms for Bargaining Unit hires and maintain training records.
• Coordinate HR initiatives and mass communications.
• Handle department mail and outgoing letters.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned.

Human Resources Co-Op Summary

The Human Resources Intern assists the local plant HR department in the day-to-day activities of the department.

Human Resources Co-op Essential Functions

• Performs wide variety of administrative duties to support the human resource department (i.e. letters, reports and forms; preparation, distribution, and filing of various employee communications).
• Participates in labor relation activities including grievances and contracting out
• Assists in recruiting and orientation/on-boarding activities
• Send and receive new hire probationary forms, track the progress of all Bargaining Unit new hires
• Assists in maintaining an accurate/up-to-date employee training database, and distributes reports to appropriate personnel as required
• Coordinates and participates in HR initiatives such as mass distributions, open enrollment, Health and wellness activities, etc.
• Receives and distributes department mail, prepares outgoing mail and overnight letters.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Serve on a variety of committees.
