This role is designed to build a strong foundation throughout baseball operations, combining curriculum and project-based education, day-to-day project and task execution, and exposure to decision-making processes at the highest level of the game. Prior baseball experience is not mandatory for success in this role. The Associate will primarily support the International Scouting department with exposure to the Acquisitions domain through the following functions:
This program begins in January 2027 or June 2027, depending on candidate availability, and runs through October 31st, 2027. The hourly rate for this role is $20 and includes a generous monthly living stipend.
Develop a strong knowledge of modern baseball metrics, development practices, and evaluation skills.
Work effectively across groups, presenting information clearly to varied constituents and collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
Proactively manage multiple tasks under pressure with high attention to detail, balancing project urgency and impact.
Develop proficiency with cutting-edge technology within and outside of baseball, while contributing ideas for process improvement and optimization.
