Job summary

LyondellBasell in Corpus Christi, TX seeks an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to join our team. You’ll contribute to plant safety, environmental performance, and profitability while starting your career in a creative, collaborative environment.

The role offers opportunities to develop control schemes, model processes, and support instrument and electrical systems as well as large-scale projects. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a 3.0+ GPA are required, along with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced control schemes.
• Create and refine process models for predictive control systems.
• Engineer and improve process measurement instrumentation and control systems.

High Voltage Engineer:

Collaborate with electrical technicians to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Evaluate and enhance the electrical system for expansion and reliability.

Corporate Electrical Engineering:

Offer electrical consultation for global manufacturing.

Implement standards tomaintaina consistent corporate philosophy on electrical systems.

Lead large-scale electrical projects and represent the company externally.

Lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement significant projects.

Manage all project aspects, from concept through construction.

Ensure projects meet goals, budgets, and timelines.
