Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer in Morris, IL to join our team. You will contribute to plant safety, environmental performance and profitability through fresh ideas and collaboration.

Roles span control systems, instrument & electrical, high voltage, and project engineering. Candidates should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, a 3.0+ GPA, and ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced control schemes.
• Create and refine process models for predictive control systems.
• Engineer and improve process measurement instrumentation and control systems.
• Provide daily technical support for I&E or control systems.
• Lead large-scale electrical projects and represent the company externally.
• Manage projects from concept through construction to meet goals and timelines.

High Voltage Engineer

Corporate Electrical Engineering

• Implement standards to maintain a consistent corporate philosophy on electrical systems.

Project Engineering

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement significant projects.
• Manage all project aspects, from concept through construction.
• Ensure projects meet goals, budgets, and timelines.

Qualifications We're Looking For
