LyondellBasell in New Jersey near Woodbridge Township is hiring an Entry Level Associate Electrical Engineer to contribute fresh ideas on controlling systems, instrumentation, and plant safety. You will join a diverse engineering team and work on real-world projects with impact on environmental performance and profitability.

We offer diverse opportunities across electrical disciplines, from control systems to high voltage engineering, with training and mentorship for recent graduates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced control schemes.
• Create and refine process models for predictive control systems.
• Engineer and improve process measurement instrumentation and control systems.
• Provide daily technical support for I&E or control systems.
• Collaborate with electrical technicians to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Evaluate and enhance the electrical system for expansion and reliability.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and manage projects from concept to construction.
• Ensure projects meet goals, budgets, and timelines.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Manage all project aspects, from concept through construction.
• Ensure projects meet goals, budgets, and timelines.
