Job Description

Anderson School District Three is seeking a dedicated and student-focused ISS Supervisor and ROAR Program Facilitator at Crescent High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The ROAR Program provides a structured, supportive intervention setting for students who require additional behavioral and academic support. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with students, promote accountability and growth, and collaborate with staff and families to support student success.

Essential Duties:
  • Provide daily supervision and support for students assigned to In-School Suspension (ISS) and the ROAR Program, maintaining a structured, safe, and positive learning environment.
  • Assist with small group instruction and individualized support to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Implement behavioral interventions and restorative practices designed to improve student conduct, decision‑making, and accountability.
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, lunch, and arrival/dismissal times.
  • Monitor and support student completion of academic assignments in collaboration with classroom teachers.
  • Develop positive relationships with students and serve as a mentor who encourages personal growth, responsibility, and successful school engagement.
  • Collaborate with administrators, counselors, teachers, and other staff members to develop and implement student support plans.
  • Observe and document student behavior and progress, sharing relevant information with the teacher.
  • Assist students in developing conflict resolution, self-regulation, and social-emotional skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information in accordance with district policies and applicable laws.
  • Participate in student conferences, parent meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings as requested.
  • Performs requirements as established by state and federal laws and requirements established by the Board of Trustees.
  • Fulfills professional responsibilities beyond the classroom.
  • Participates in professional development programs.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Additional Information: REPORTS TO: Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 185 days.
JOB TYPE: Full-time
SALARY: Teacher Aide Salary Schedule (Posted Online)
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the principal.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
