WMCH Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform test procedures on patient specimens using laboratory equipment and reagents, and to maintain competency across testing areas.
You will handle specimen collection, venipuncture, quality control, and reporting of results, while collaborating with technologists and supervisors, and pursuing continuing education to stay current. 40 hours weekly, Day shift, Non-Exempt.
Obtains blood fluids and excretive specimens from patients; performs testing procedures on specimens using laboratory equipment and/or reagents.
